Our Ministries

The UMM is for any man who would like to join us for breakfast and fellowship on the 2^nd

Sunday of each month at 7:00am. Then , join us throughout the year as we sponsor various fund-raising activities to help fund various missions, provide scholarships for our students and support other church ministries.

The UMW is a community of women of all ages who come together the first Tuesday of each month at 11:00am in the conference room of Henryville UMC to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ. We develop a creative, supportive fellowship, participate in the global ministries of the church and study the Bible and mission literature. Join us as we develop a special bond of sisterhood by sharing work, laughter, joys, concerns, prayer and fun.

We invite all the ladies of the church to join us for breakfast and worship on the fourth Sunday of each onth at 7:30am in the Fellowship Hall. We find creative and fun ways to fulfill our primary mission of suporting the various ministries within our church.

The Promise Keeper are a group of men who meet at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant on Wednesdays at 6:30 AM for a time of sharing, devotion, and to pray for God's guidance in our everyday lives. We Hope you will join us for breakfast and Christian fellowship. 

Join the Springers on the third Tuesday of each month as we explore the wonders that can be found in the communities around us. We may visit a historic village, a bed and breakfast, a State park or just to enjoy the seasonal decorations that have been created by others. Always a time of great fun and fellowship, the Springers invite you to come along and share the joys that God has provided us.

God is calling ALL of us to find our special place in His service. The Evangelism Team is for anyone who seems to always be telling someone about the love of God, the promises He has for us, and how He has changed lives. The only requirement is the desire to reach out to our church family and the surrounding community with the love of God and the desire to bring people to the Lord.

Our children's ministry is directed by Tammy Day. The Sunday school curriculum follows the Workshop Rotation Model created by Reverend Neil MacQueen and Melissa Armstrong-Hansche in 1990. The same Bible story or theme is taught for several weeks, and each week the children rotate to a different station, reinforcing the lesson in their memories. Using these method, our children explore each bible lesson through art, drama, movies, games and computers.
